Mayu means cocoon, and we think we have created a really special place where you can do just that. The residency includes a huge amount of creative support, and options like Japanese language lessons, professional video creation and more.

Applications are open for the next month for our 2027 Spring residency placement, so apply now if you’d like to see yourself amongst the sakura with us early next year!
If you cannot afford to stay but would like to, we are also offering a scholarship for one placement each year.
