The light seethes and shimmers, reflecting in the sunlit room. Everything seems simultaneously familiar and alien. There's a vague feeling that if this is a dream, it is better to try to stay in it for as long as possible.

“You’re planting a new sprout, hoping it will thrive. Will you be able to give it the necessary care? Was the seed strong enough to survive? Should you protect it from the environment, or would it be better if it developed its own immunity to external stresses? You won't know unless you give it a chance.”

When I come to a new town and pass an old, small store that is closed, I wonder if it is closed due to its working schedule or if it has been closed a long time ago. I look into the windows, trying to figure out if the items displayed for sale are still relevant. Is this a well-preserved time capsule, or just a thrift store?

“In the place where I live, summer is very short. Each year I try to notice how it starts, how it changes and how it ends. It makes me a little sad when I notice that the days are getting shorter, because that means the summer will soon be over. But it’s also a very important bittersweet part that I usually remember the most.”

“When you see an image of some place you gain memories of it. Even if you have never been there - and there might be no such a place at all - but now you know about it. And it exists somewhere within you, just as if it was real. In my opinion, this is one of the most exciting things about art.”

“Sometimes it gets snowy too early. This snow sticks around the trees, fences, street lights, turning the city into a white garden. Recently I had a thought that a view like that might be even more impressive than the spring bloom. But such snow often melts so fast. As if nothing had happened.”
