We are currently taking applications for the 2027 Spring Residency

This is an artist funded placement, taking place for 1 to 3 months over March, April and May 2027. You can choose your own dates between March 1st and May 31st, with a minimum stay of 28 nights.

Before applying, please make sure you have read about the whole application process here, and that you have everything ready, as the below form cannot be completed half way and saved for later.

Please be warned that if generative AI has been used in any of your artworks, or in the text of your application, you will be disqualified from consideration.

The closing exhibition at Sannomaru Hall has fixed dates: May 4th and 5th. If you cannot schedule your placement around these dates, we will provide an alternate exhibition venue, but please understand that it may be a smaller venue with less natural exposure.
